8. Amanda Elizabeth³ Osborne (Gideon Lewis⁴, Joseph⁵, John⁶, Robert⁷, Robert⁸, Ephraim⁹, Ephraim¹⁰, Ephraim¹¹, John¹², Thomas¹³) was born in Rich Hill, Ashe Co., NC, 3/14/1893. Amanda died 12/27/1990 in Rising Sun, Cecil Co., MD, at 97 years of age. Her body was interred in Peach Bottom, PA, Little Brittian Presbyterian.

She married James Arthur Osborne in Ashe Co., NC, 1909. James was born in Ashe Co., NC 11/1/1886. James was the son of Larkin Osborne and Elizabeth Williams. James died 1962 in Lancaster Co., PA, at 75 years of age. His body was interred in Peach Bottom, PA, Little Britian Presbyterian.
